Activist Calls On Nigerians To Troop Out To Receive Sowore On Tuesday
Following the continued detention of the publisher of Sahara Reporter, Omoyele Sowore by the Department of Secret Service even after the bail terms have been met, Comrade Deji Adeyanju has submitted a petition for the release of Sowore and called on other well-meaning Nigerians to come out to receive him on Tuesday.
Following the continued detention of the publisher of Sahara Reporter, Omoyele Sowore by the Department of Secret Service even after the bail terms have been met, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, a social activist has submitted a petition for the release of Sowore and called on other well-meaning Nigerians to come out to receive him on Tuesday.

Recall that Sowore has been held even after his bail terms were met by his lawyer Femi Falana, SAN but was not released. The DSS later stated that they were ready to release him but no one to take him.

This statement sparked outrage on his lawyer, activist, friends, and family dropped out to receive him on Saturday but DSS told them that he cannot be released on a Saturday even after they waited for many hours.
