COVID-19: Gov. Fayemi Appoints Man who Refused Son Entry into Home as Response Ambassador
The Governor of Ekiti State has appointed Mr Adeoye as a COVID-19 Response Ambassador in Ekiti State after his video went viral.
The Governor of Ekiti State has appointed Mr Adeoye as a COVID-19 Response Ambassador in Ekiti State after his video went viral.

Mr Adeoye was seen in a viral video saying that he will not allow his son who defied him and travelled to Lagos State during this pandemic into his house.
The video caught the attention of the Ekiti State Governor and he invited him.
Governor Kayode commended Mr Adeoye’s courage and self discipline and appointed him to propagate the message of the COVID-19 taskforce team in the State.

BREAKING: Governor Kayode Fayemi @kfayemi has appointed Mr. Adeoye as a COVID-19 Response Ambassador in Ekiti State. He will help to propagate the message as a member of the COVID-19 Task Force @Ekiti_COVID19 in the State.
By, in accordance with existing regulations, denying his son entry into his household having travelled from places under Federal lockdown against his fatherly advice, Mr. Adeoye has proved to be a worthy ambassador of Ekiti State resolve to end the #COVID19 pandemic.’

Mr. Adeoye represents the kind of self-discipline, selflessness, and sense of collective responsibility that Ekiti State and Nigeria need desperately today to progress.’
