An unidentified man has stated how some policemen killed a promising graduate of the Madonna University over the refusal by a driver to pay a bribe.

He stated that the late man was on his way to Lagos State to collect his offer letter after searching for a job for so long.
The police, however, denied shooting the man and he bled out on a hospital table while hoping for a police report.
The late victim of police brutality was a bright student who graduated best in his department and was loved by all.
He wrote, “Madonna graduates will remember Peter who was the best in Economics that year, after NYSC he didn’t get a job immediately but he was resourceful. He would dress up as a mascot for children’s parties and he was getting by with it while applying for jobs.”
“About a year later he got a job offer from Zenith Bank and everyone was so relieved, he was someone everybody liked and was rooting for. He went to Lagos to collect his offer letter and headed back to Asaba to prepare for training school but alas he didn’t make it to Asaba.
He was killed by the Nigerian police at Agbor, the driver of the bus he rode refused to tip them and drove off so they fired at the bus. He was sitting at the back and he bled out at the hospital also because of no police report. The police denied shooting him of course.”
“I don’t think I have attended a more painful funeral, the cleric couldn’t even get a word in cos everybody wept at the tragedy. His mother was inconsolable, he was someone every single person liked but the police killed him cos of a bribe.”
Recall that a 16-year-old girl Tina Ezekwu was killed last week by a drunk trigger happy policeman and many others have been killed by police brutality.
