An unbelieving scene has played out in Jalingo, Taraba State on Thursday after a soldier identified as Ali climbed a 24fts high Roadblock Tower and threatened to jump down.
An unbelieving scene has played out in Jalingo, Taraba State on Thursday after a soldier identified as Ali climbed a 24fts high Roadblock Tower and threatened to jump down.
According to eyewitnesses, the soldier was aggrieved after some policemen brutalized him while on leave and so he decided to commit suicide.
At a point, he was said to have vowed to remain there until the Governor or police commissioner comes to talk to him.
