Following the criticism of Nollywood by Reno Omokri, actor Yul Edochie has stated that the past leaders have failed to fix the country and so, Nollywood should not be blamed for the backwardness of the country.

He also asked the former spokesman to former President Goodluck Jonathan if all the gun movies have ever stopped people from applying for an American Visa.

He said, “Past leaders failed to fix the country, you all turn around to blame Nollywood for it.
All the gun violence movies you watch from America has it stopped you from applying for an American visa, neither have the kung fu movies stopped you from going to China.
It’s all entertainment.”

Recall that a few days ago, Reno narrated his ordeal with an American lady who thought he wanted to use her photo for fetish (juju) purpose.
