Police Nabs Suspect for Defiling 10-year-old Girl in Anambra State

Following a tip-off, the Anambra State Police Command has nabbed a 22 years old suspect, Ikechukwu Okoli, for defiling 10 years old girl in his room in Nkpor, Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.

This was made known by PPRO, SP Haruna Mohammed, for the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, stating that the CP John B.Abang, FDC has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Awka for discreet investigation after which suspect would be charged to court for prosecution.

Ikechukwu was arrested by Police operatives attached to Isiuwulu Division on Monday, 22nd of June and the scene of the crime and the victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination where laceration of her hymen was confirmed.
