Treat Consumers as King – Pantomi Tells Telecommunications Operators

The Honourable Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantomi has urged telecommunication operators to treat their consumers as King by improving quality of service rendered.

Pantomi said this while delivering a keynote address at the Sectoral Virtual Forum organized by the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria on Thursday.

He also assured the consumers of telecommunications that the government will protect their rights and also reminded the operators of Federal Government’s commitment to address their operational challenges.

Pantomi also encouraged the operators to reciprocate government’s effort by reducing the cost of service and increasing broadband penetration in line with the National Broadband Plan.
