Obiano Suspends 12 Traditional Rulers Over Abuja Trip

The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano has suspended 12 traditional rulers that accompanied oil magnet Prince Arthur Eze to pay a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Prince Arthur Eze and Obiano has been at loggerheads with each other which started when the Governor made an effort to highjack the new Zone 13 police station to his community, he also made efforts to stop Prince Arthur Eze from seeing the President.

Prince Arthur Eze also promised to take care of the traditional rulers allowances before their suspension was announced.

In a press release signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Greg .I. Obi, stated that the traditional Rulers were suspended for travelling outside the state without the consultation/approval of the Governor.

The suspension will last for a period of one year and maybe extended further.
