Following the killings in Southern Kaduna, lawyers, Olayekan Moyosore Lalude, Love Ugheberio Collins and Gideon Adeyeni have filed a complaint to the International Criminal Court indicting the Kaduna State Government over the killings in the State.

This comes after the uproar raised by the dis-invitation of the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai by the Nigerian Bar Association as it’s keynote speaker.
Citing the continued killings going on in Southern Kaduna which Governor El-Rufai quoted on national television as a ‘media hype’, the lawyers stated that the Governor have tried to divert attention from the urgency of the matter in the State.
They also disclosed that a preliminary investigation will be initiated and followed in due course.
Lalude wrote, “Yesterday, I and my colleagues, Love Ugheberio Collins and Gideon Adeyeni filed a communication to the International Criminal Court indicting the Kaduna State Government over the killings in Southern Kaduna. We’ve gotten a response. We hope that a preliminary investigation is initiated in due course.”
Recall that the southern killing has been going on for a long time and according to the Governor, he is doing everything in his power to stop the constant killing of people in the State.
