Man Arrested for Sexually Molesting Friend’s Daughter

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 46-year-old man identified as Ifeanyi Atogu for defiling his friend’s seven year old daughter.

Atogu who hails from Ofenta Nsugbe in Oyi LGA of Anambra State was arrested on the 24th of September, 2020 who lured his friend’s daughter who is deaf and dumb and sexually molested her.

This was made known by the Police Public Relation Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed who stated that the police detectives took the victim to the hospital for medical Examination where penetration was confirmed by the medical doctor.

Meanwhile, the suspect has voluntarily confessed and attributes his act to the devil’s influence and manipulations. The Case would be transferred to the State criminal investigation department for discreet investigation as directed by the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang, FDC after which suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.

The suspect stated that it was the devil’s handiwork.
