Police Arrest Three Suspects for Robbery in Anambra State

The Anambra State police command have arrested three suspects, 20-year-old Chibuike Allwell, 16-year-old Chiemena Uwuoba and 20-year-old Ileabuchi Chukwudi for breaking a residence to steal.

They were arrested following a distress call by Okafor Fidelis of Amorji village Agulu in Anaocha LGA of Anambra State who said they stole twenty thousand nairas.

According to the Anambra State Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, Haruna Mohammed who said that ‘Police operatives attached to Neni division in conjunction with local vigilante group quickly responded and rushed to the scene. As a result, three suspects were arrested as follows,

(i). Chibuike Allwell ‘m’ aged 20years,
(ii). China Uwuoba ‘m’ aged 16years both natives of Abia State and,
(iii). Ileabuchi Chukwudi ‘m’ aged 20years of Umuifite village, Agulu.

Meanwhile, exhibits recovered in their possessions include the sum of #20’000, One Axe, one cutlass, one knife, one spanner, two torch lights, charms and other incriminating items. A case under investigation after which suspects would be a charge to court for prosecution.’
