Senator Ita-Giwa Kneels to Beg Youth in Calabar
Following the mass destruction and looting of properties in Cross River State, former Senator Florence Ita-Giwa who was representing Cross River South Senatorial district has knelt to appeal to youths.
Following the mass destruction and looting of properties in Cross River State, former Senator Florence Ita-Giwa who was representing Cross River South Senatorial district has knelt to appeal to youths.

She said this today while appealing for forgiveness and calm in the State.
Senator Ita-Giwa stated that she knows they (politicians) have wronged the youths and the youths have suffered due to their selfishness and asked for forgiveness.
In her words, “I know we have offended you, the generation of today has suffered. The big people have offended you, please forgive us. Forgive the big people. Forgive the politicians”

Former Governor Donald Duke also visited to appeal to youths to calm down, he was highly received by the people while the Governor, Prof Ben Ayade was not seen.
