Armed Robbery Gang Busted, Two Arrested in Anambra State
Two suspected armed robbery gang who were operating around Shoprite in Onitsha, Anambra State has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command on Saturday.
Two suspected armed robbery gang who were operating around Shoprite in Onitsha, Anambra State has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command on Saturday.
The suspects, 24-year-old, Chibuike Okwuosa and 26-year-old, Odigbo Chidera, who resides at Awada were dislodged by police operatives attached to the Rapid Response Squad.
According to the Police Public Relation Officer, Haruna Mohammed stated that one revolver pistol, five rounds of .9mm live ammunition, one dagger and an unregistered Venza.
The case, however, has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and charged to court afterwards.
