Police Bust Gay Party, Arrest Undisclosed Number of Men

Police operatives busted a gay party held at SWISSER SWISS CLASSIC HOME HOTEL AND SUITE” Ifitedunu, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State on Sunday, 7th March 2021.

It was gathered that men of different ages were arrested from the party when the trouble started over an undisclosed issue following a distress call to the Ukpo Police Station.

According to Joseph Egbeocha, an Anambra Broadcasting Service, the suspects attempted fleeing the facility when they saw policemen in the venue.

An indigene of the community, who corroborated the police source, said, “The gays were holding a party at the facility when trouble ensued, leading to the invitation of policemen from the Ukpo Police Division.

The suspects attempted fleeing in all directions when the policemen arrived, leading to the destruction of ceilings and other items in the hotel. They were taken to the command’s anti-cult office in Ukpo for investigation.”
