Buhari Appoint New Acting Inspector General of Police
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba as the new acting Inspector General of Police with immediate effect.
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba as the new acting Inspector General of Police with immediate effect.

He made this known on Tuesday, 6th of April, 2021 through the Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi to newsmen in Abuja.

Remember that the tenure of the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu ended on February 2nd, 2021 but was extended by three months.
