A man has accused officers believed to be members of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad for beating and dragging him to the Police Station.

It was gathered that the man was beaten at the Ikorodu roundabout when he asked what he did wrong.
Speaking on Twitter, he stated that the officers who kept shouting said that they were members of SARS.

“@PoliceNG when will y’all stop harassing us?? I was jus beaten to the point of death by sars officials at Ikorodu roundabout for doing nothing wrong, dragged me into their bus. I was kicked in between my legs. My testis hurts like crazy. I was beaten by five sars officials
The more i tell them that they have no right to harass me, the more they beat me. I kept asking what’s my offense. What kind of a hell country is this. I’m still at the station at Ikorodu around about Shagam road.”

As of the time of filing this report, the police have not responded to the tag.
