Umahi Writes Buhari, Demands N10bn for Airport Completion
The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi has written to the President, Muhammadu Buhari seeking N10 billion for the completion of the State airport.
The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi has written to the President, Muhammadu Buhari seeking N10 billion for the completion of the State airport.

In a viral document signed by the Governor, he revealed that the N10 billion will enable the State to buy some equipment for the airport with the intent to complete it before May 2022.
The letter which was written through the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, on 7th September 2021 also revealed that the State will hand over the airport to the Federal Government upon completion for concession and supervision.
Governor Umahi, while inspecting the airport earlier this year disclosed that the airport will be ready for use in the year 2022.
