Soldiers Allegedly Beat Up Youths Over Herdsmen Invasion
On Saturday, 2nd October 2021, the Nigerian Soldiers invaded the Nde community in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State to beat up youths.
On Saturday, 2nd October 2021, the Nigerian Soldiers invaded the Nde community in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State to beat up youths.

According to a member of the community identified as Max Ndifon, the soldiers stormed the community after the youths chased out herdsmen who invaded it.
The youths were beaten like criminals allegedly for chasing the invaders away.
“My community was invaded by Herdsmen, the youths chased them away. On Saturday 2nd Oct. the army invaded my community and beat up our youths like common criminals. NDE Community in Ikom Local government area of Cross River State. Sad.”
Meanwhile, this act by soldiers has been going on, in Iselu, Ibeku, Asa and Agbon-ojodu communities in Ogun State indigenous were also harrassed in defence of herders whom they forced out of the community.
