A 30-year-old man identified as Nnanna Kalu has been sentenced to 15-month imprisonment by the Lagos State Mobile Court for stealing medical workers laptops.

Kalu was captured by the CCTV while stealing the laptop at the General Hospital a few weeks ago and handed over to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) patrol team in Gbagada General Hospital.
The suspect returned to the hospital last week to steal again when he was spotted and arrested. He was putting on the same t-shirt and trousers he wore when he was spotted on the footage stealing the laptop.
Kalu confessed that he moved around hospitals in Lagos under the guise of seeking treatment to steal laptops and other valuables of medical workers and patients.
According to RRS, he revealed that he has stolen in J.K. Randle General Hospital, Surulere, BRT terminal in Yaba and Ikeja.
