Ibadan Socialite Arrested for Alleged N25m Fraud
A 42-year-old socialite identified as Ajayi Oluwabukola Temitope has been arrested for allegedly obtaining the sum of N24,955,000.00 (Twenty Four Million, Nine Hundred and Fifty-Five Thousand Naira) by false pretence
A 42-year-old socialite identified as Ajayi Oluwabukola Temitope has been arrested for allegedly obtaining the sum of N24,955,000.00 (Twenty Four Million, Nine Hundred and Fifty-Five Thousand Naira) by false pretence.
Ajayi was arrested by operatives of the Ibadan Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, after series of petitions were written against her.
The suspects who claimed to be a registered dealer with soft drinks manufacturers in Ibadan, Oyo State, promised to supply products but failed to do so after collecting money from them.
