NDLEA Operatives Bust Illicit Drugs Concealed in Tubers of Yam
The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA busted an attempt to traffic illicit drugs at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos State on Thursday.
The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA busted an attempt to traffic illicit drugs at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos State on Thursday.
The illicit drugs were carefully concealed in tubers of yam which flagged off the security operatives.
A viral video showed moments after a tuber of yam was cut open to show the drugs by the operatives to show the drugs carefully tucked inside it.
The NDLEA under the leadership of Brig. General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), OFR has recorded a lot of success in the fight against drug misuse and trafficking of illicit drugs substance in the country.
