Shocking! School Sends Student Home for Using Peter Obi’s Campaign Poster to Wrap Notebook
A 10-year-old girl, Marvelous Barinada was sent home from school on Tuesday for using campaign material of Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi to wrap her notebooks.
A 10-year-old girl, Marvelous Barinada was sent home from school on Tuesday for using campaign material of Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi to wrap her notebooks.

It was gathered that the management of Odomola Secondary School, Epe in Lagos State sent the little girl home when they saw the poster paper stating that the school does not meddle in politics.
In the exit letter signed by the School Principal, Mrs. Jonathan advised the girl to ‘go home and campaign for Peter Obi against the wish of Lagosians.’

Speaking to reporters, the mother of little Marvelous wrote on social media, “This is to inform you all, that my Daughter Marvelous Barinaadaa, was Exit from Odomola Secondary school today 14th March 2023 by the school Principal, just because my daughter used Peter Obi’s poster paper to wrap her notebook book for school.”

The mother also revealed that they were not informed about the decision of the management but suddenly saw her daughter back from school.
“And this girl is just Ten years old, she doesn’t know anything about Politics, but she was sent away from school without informing the parents because they say we support Peter Obi and Labour.
Please, Is this Act by the school Principal good?”
“See what the school Principal write in that Letter. And after, we will say we are one Nigeria.”

Confirming the incident, Omosehin Isaac Powei with the username @AYOBSFL who visited the school on Wednesday morning stated that the incident happened but has been settled by parents who stormed the school.
