One Dies, 58 Rescued as Police Raid Hostage Spots in FCT
A man identified as Tama Jonathan jas died after sustaining a gun injury as operatives of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, rescued 58 kidnapped victims held hostage at Udulu Forest, Gegu LGA of Kogi State, bordering Sardauna Forest, Nasarawa State.
A man identified as Tama Jonathan jas died after sustaining a gun injury as operatives of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, rescued 58 kidnapped victims held hostage at Udulu Forest, Gegu LGA of Kogi State, bordering Sardauna Forest, Nasarawa State.

Reports say the bandits on sighting the security team coordinated by the Police fired at them which resulted in a shootout.
The bandits were overpowered and escaped with various degrees of bullet injuries leaving behind their victims.
Other kidnappers’ den in communities around the FCT was also raided.
Meanwhile, the remains of the deceased have been released to his family for burial while the rescued victims are being stabilized in the hospital and would be reunited with their families.
