The Federal Road Safety Corps has recalled the patrol team of its officers who were caught in a viral video slapping a motorist within the Egbeda unit in Osun State.
This was directed in a statement on Wednesday by the Assistant Corps Marshal, Corps Public Education Officer, Bizi Kazeem as directed by the Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu who also urged them to launch a ‘comprehensive investigation into the entire circumstances that propelled the officer into the uncivil act and make necessary recommendations for swift administrative action.’
Corps Marshal Dauda warned that such behavior was tantamount to incivility while stating that the provocative act was a complete contravention of the Federal Road Safety Corps’ standard operating procedures for officers on patrol operations.
