Sit-at-Home: Enugu Govt. Seals Off Hotels, Companies
Enugu State Government has sealed off some hotels and companies observing the sit-at-home order by Simon Ekpa, the autopilot faction leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Enugu State Government has sealed off some hotels and companies observing the sit-at-home order by Simon Ekpa, the autopilot faction leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

This was done by the Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority, ECTDA, who moved around on Monday and marked every single shop closed for the illegal sit-at-home.
It stated clearly that this directive was in line with the vision of the State government led by Governor Peter Mbah, who warned that any shop not opened in the State risk sanction.

Security forces assured residents in the South East of their protection while assuring them to go about their duties.
The illegal ongoing sit-at-home order in South East was declared to force the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, who is still in detention after he was arrested and repatriated from Kenya to Nigeria in 2021.
There have been numerous attempts to secure his release but all have proved abortive.
