Three Rescued as 40ft Container Falls on Saloon Car
Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Police, and other emergency responders rescued three casualties from a trapped saloon car at Ojuelegba Inward Stadium on Funsho Williams Avenue, Surulere, Lagos on Sunday night.
Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Police, and other emergency responders rescued three casualties from a trapped saloon car at Ojuelegba Inward Stadium on Funsho Williams Avenue, Surulere, Lagos on Sunday night.

The rescue mission which was led by Traffic Officer Olajide Olukoga popularly known as ‘Bravo’ confirmed that a 40ft container fell on top of a Toyota Corolla car (JJJ 811 FB) at the top Ojuelegba Bridge inward Stadium.
Director, of Public Affairs and Enlightenment, Adebayo Taofiq, on Monday morning confirmed that out of those three casualties rescued from the Toyota Corolla saloon car, only one (male) came out unhurt and was allowed to go immediately.

The remaining two rescued casualties (an adult male and a female) were rushed to hospital by an ambulance belonging to Lasema.
Meanwhile, the entire Ojuelegba Bridge inward Stadium has been temporarily closed and traffic was diverted to the service lane by Lastma as Rescue and recovery operations were ongoing.
