Extortion; FAAN Hires Mystery Staff
To checkmate the activities and extortion of passengers at the airport, the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Mr Kabir Yusuf Mohammed has stated that mystery staff has been hired at the four international airports.
To checkmate the activities and extortion of passengers at the airport, the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Mr Kabir Yusuf Mohammed has stated that mystery staff has been hired at the four international airports.

He made this known at the One-day sensitization program on the ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Initiative organized by the Directorate of Airport Operations at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMA) Lagos, said the responsibility of the mystery staff is to take note of the activities of staff at the airports and report same to management.

Mr Mohammed expressed displeasure at the reputation of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport and warned that any staff caught on such act of extortion especially during the yuletide will face disciplinary actions.
He also challenged government representatives that operate at the airport including Customs, Immigration, Quarantine, Police and others to be professionals while carrying out their duties.
