Niger Residents Protest Against High Cost of Living

Residents of Niger State have barricaded the Kpakungu roundabout, which connects to the NECO headquarters and FUTMinna, in protest over the high cost of living.

Major roads in the city have been blocked while efforts made by security agencies to dismiss the crowd proved abortive.

In a video shared by Newsleverage, the residents were seen resisting the efforts of the government to also control the crowd.
