APC Governorship Aspirant Dies Days after Alleging Threat to Life
Paul Akintelure, the governorship aspirant of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has died on Tuesday morning just days after alleging threat to life.
Paul Akintelure, the governorship aspirant of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has died on Tuesday morning just days after alleging threat to life.

Last Thursday, in a statement, Paul raised an alarm over an alleged threat to his life ahead of the governorship election four days ago.
“Initially, I hope these incidents would dissipate over time, yet regrettably, they have escalated to pose a serious threat to my life.”

The medical doctor was confirmed dead in a hospital in Lagos after he battled chest pain for about four days.
Confirming his death, the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Alex Kalejaiye, while speaking to newsmen said; “It is true, I can confirm it. We would issue a statement about it shortly.”
