Last Thursday, in a statement, Paul raised an alarm over an alleged threat to his life ahead of the governorship election four days ago.

“Initially, I hope these incidents would dissipate over time, yet regrettably, they have escalated to pose a serious threat to my life.”

The medical doctor was confirmed dead in a hospital in Lagos after he battled chest pain for about four days.
