One has died and several injured in a deadly clash between rival cult groups in Pakata area of Ilorin, Kwara state, on Monday.
The clash which resulted when a suspected member of one group, Abiodun, fatally shot a member of a rival faction, Yusuf, during a disagreement.
It was gathered that members of Yusuf’s group, in retaliation, attacked Abiodun’s residence at Gana compound, Pakata, armed with firearms, cutlasses, and other dangerous weapons.
Reports from eonsintelligence revealed that more than six vehicles were destroyed while many individuals were left injured and scared in the community.
