NSU Undergraduate Set to Embark on ‘Thank You Trek’ as VC Bows Out

A 25-year-old undergraduate student of Nasarawa State University, Bala Abubakar is set to embark on a ‘thank you’ trek in honour of the Vice Chancellor of the school Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed popularly known as Buffalo Soldier whose tenure has come to an end.

Sharing this news on Monday, Mr Abubakar said he will trek from Keffi to Laminga, the hometown of the outgoing Vice-Chancellor in the Nasarawa Local Government Area of the State.

He said the exercise was in appreciation of the stewardship of the Vice Chancellor in the School.

Recall that NSU had full accreditation of all the academic programmes by the National Universities Commission, the Establishment of the Institute of Molecular Diagnostic and Infectious Disease in collaboration with the Freiburg Universitat in Germany and the World Health Organisation and the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering at the Gudi campus and the School of Medical Science under the outgoing VC.
