Court Grants Cubana Chiefpriest N10 Million Bail

Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest a nightlife promoter has been granted N10 million bail after he pleaded guilty to the three-count charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He was arraigned at the Federal High Court, Lagos before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on Wednesday.

Cubana Chiefpriest was asked to provide two responsible sureties in like sum who must be gainfully employed with the federal or state government and not less than grade level 16.

The sureties are to have landed property and the document must be verified by the court.

Cubana Chief Priest was also asked to submit his travel passport to the custody of the court and the Bail conditions must be perfected within seven days.

Meanwhile, he was released to the care of his lawyer who was mandated to sign an undertaken to produce him later or face being remanded in a correctional facility.
