Passengers who had an early flight could not access the domestic terminal as all flight operations have been suspended.
The Organised Labour Unions are protesting the stagnant N30,000 minimum wage which cannot sustain an individual considering the spiraling high cost of living currently.

They proposed N494,000 per month as the new minimum but the Federal Government through the tripartite committee set up propose N60,000.
Labour argued that if the committee does not conclude its negotiations before the 31st of June 2024, it will embark on an indefinite strike.
On the 1st June, 2024, the Organised Labour announced a nationwide strike which kicked off on the 3rd of June, 2024.
