The Akwa Ibom Commissioner of Police, Waheed Ayilara has reportedly died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
The Akwa Ibom Commissioner of Police, Waheed Ayilara has reportedly died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
It was reported by the Nation that Waheed, who passed away on Thursday, had undergone prostate cancer surgery on Wednesday, just hours before his death.
“We are very sad to inform you that our friend, brother and family member, the Commissioner of Police for Akwa Ibom State, Waheed Ayilara, is dead,” a family member said.
