Nursing Students Reject Oluremi Tinubu as First Lady Pays Visit
Students at the College of Nursing in Agbor, Delta State, have rejected First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s title as their “mother” during her visit to the school on Tuesday.
Students at the College of Nursing in Agbor, Delta State, have rejected First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s title as their “mother” during her visit to the school on Tuesday.
In a viral video shared by Newsleverage, the Master of Ceremony praised the First Lady, referring to her as the “mother of the nation.” However, the students responded by outrightly rejecting this designation.
The rejection of Remi Tinubu as their “mother” was clear and emphatic.
“Na our mama be this ooo, we don’t have another, na our mama be this ooo, the MC sang” in response, the nursing student who was supposed to respond, “na our mama be this ooo” responded with “na your mama be this ooo”,
It’s still unclear why the students did it but it might not be unconnected to the economic situation of the country.
