Police Teargas Women on Counter Protest Against Rivers State of Emergency
The police are using teargas on women protesting the State of Emergency in Rivers State and the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The police are using teargas on women protesting the State of Emergency in Rivers State and the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The women protested against a solidarity walk supporting the militarization of the State and Vice Admiral Rtd Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas on Monday.



The women called for the removal of the Sole Administrator of the return of the Executive Governor of the State Siminalayi Fubara.
This is coming weeks after Governor Fubara was suspended by President Bola Tinubu over the recurring political crisis bedevilling the State.
