Flamboyant Controversial Pastor Tobi Reveals Cancer Diagnosis, Donates £100,000
In a pre-recorded sermon aired to his congregation on Thursday, Adegboyega shared that he had been diagnosed with cancer several months ago and recently underwent major surgery.
Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the controversial Nigerian-born founder of The Nxtion Family (formerly SPAC Nation), has disclosed that he is battling cancer.

In a pre-recorded sermon aired to his congregation on Thursday, Adegboyega shared that he had been diagnosed with cancer several months ago and recently underwent major surgery.
He expressed gratitude for his survival, stating, “I have just fought the battle and I feel the verdict to continue to live was given to me by God for a new level, for a new stage.”
In a gesture of support for cancer awareness and treatment, particularly for young patients, Adegboyega announced a £100,000 donation. This contribution aims to assist in raising awareness and providing treatment options for individuals affected by cancer.

Adegboyega, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and youth-driven ministry, has faced significant scrutiny in recent years.
In 2022, SPAC Nation was shut down by UK authorities over financial irregularities, including the failure to account for over £1.87 million in expenses.
Subsequently, Adegboyega faced deportation proceedings, which culminated in a UK immigration tribunal ruling against him in December 2024.
The tribunal cited allegations of financial mismanagement and lack of transparency in the operations of SPAC Nation as grounds for the decision.
