“No More Corruption in Nigeria,” Tinubu Declares
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that corruption is no longer a threat to Nigeria’s economic growth, crediting his administration’s reforms for what he described as a turning point in the nation’s development trajectory.

Speaking on Tuesday, Tinubu said the policies introduced since he assumed office have not only stabilised the economy but have also significantly curbed corrupt practices across government institutions.
“The reforms I’ve embarked upon since I took over in Nigeria have been very impactful,” Tinubu stated confidently. “I can beat my chest for that. It was initially painful, but today the result is blossoming. It’s getting clearer to the people. We have more money for the economy… no more corruption.”
The President emphasised that the initial resistance and public discomfort following the removal of fuel subsidies and foreign exchange reforms were necessary sacrifices.
He claimed those measures have started yielding tangible economic benefits, including improved fiscal space and increased investment inflows.
