‘Eliminate Terrorists and Sponsors’ – Pastor Adeboye Urges Tinubu Ahead of Possible U.S. Military Action

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on President Bola Tinubu to take swift and decisive action against terrorists and their sponsors in Nigeria, warning that failure to do so could have grave consequences amid reports of possible U.S. military intervention.

Speaking during a recent address, Pastor Adeboye advised the Federal Government to act “fast, diplomatically, and wisely” by engaging with U.S. authorities to delay any planned military action for 100 days.

He urged President Tinubu to use the grace period to mobilise Nigeria’s security forces to decisively eliminate all terrorist threats and their financial backers.

“I suggest President Tinubu move fast, move diplomatically, move wisely. Find a way to convince the President of America to please delay his actions for 100 days and then instruct his service chiefs to get rid of these terrorists or resign,” Adeboye stated.

The respected cleric further emphasised that the government’s response should extend beyond combating insurgents on the battlefield.

“My advice to the President when giving orders to the service chiefs, he should make it clear that they’re not only to eliminate the terrorists, but also their sponsors, no matter how influential they are,” he added.

Pastor Adeboye warned that if America attacked, neither China, Russia, nor Britain would defend the country, but rather, world leaders would condemn the attack from a distance.

He stated that he has tried to relate and advise the President but pointed out that many people around President Tinubu do not tell him the truth.

Pastor Adeboye has spoken following the warning from President Donald Trump against terrorists killing Christians in Nigeria and the alleged complicity of the Nigerian government.
