Akwa Ibom Governor Directs Early Payment of 13th-Month ‘Eno-mber’ Salary
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has announced that he has instructed the Accountant General to ensure the payment of the 13th-month salary popularly referred to as the “Eno-mber salary” before Christmas.
Governor Eno disclosed this in a New Month message to workers on Monday, noting that the early payment is aimed at helping civil servants celebrate the festive season with ease.
“I have directed the Accountant General to pay the 13th-month Eno-mber salary before Christmas, so our workers can celebrate with ease. Happy New Month,” the governor stated.
Meanwhile, the Governor is set to kick off today, 32 days of music, culture, and cuisines in an unforgettable December experience scheduled to hold at the Amphitheatre Udo, Udoma Avenue, Uyo.
