Emirates Suspends All Flights to and from Dubai Amid Regional Airspace Closures

Emirates has officially announced the suspension of all flights to and from Dubai as regional airspace closures continue to disrupt aviation across the Middle East.

In a travel update posted on the airline’s official website, the carrier confirmed that operations at both Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) have been halted until further notice.

“All flights to and from Dubai have been suspended until further notice. Please do not go to the airport. Emirates will share updates when available. We want to thank our customers for their understanding and patience,” the airline said in the statement.

The suspension comes as a precautionary safety measure aimed at protecting passengers and crew members amid widespread airspace restrictions in the region. Aviation authorities have implemented the closures following heightened geopolitical tensions and reports of ongoing military activity across parts of the Middle East.

Before the latest announcement, commercial flight operations had already been extendedly paused through 23:59 UAE time on March 7. However, the evolving security situation prompted the airline to halt services entirely pending further developments.

Passengers scheduled to travel through Dubai are advised to monitor official updates from Emirates and avoid heading to the airport until flight operations resume.
