ADC Announces Timetable for 2026 Nationwide Congresses, National Convention
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released the official schedule of activities for the conduct of its 2026 nationwide congresses and National Convention.

In a statement issued by Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, the ADC said the exercise is part of its constitutional responsibility to renew and strengthen its leadership structures across all levels of the organization.
According to the party, the process will begin at the grassroots level and progress through the various tiers of the party structure, starting from polling units and wards, moving through local government and state levels, and concluding with the National Convention.
The timetable approved by the party leadership outlines the following schedule:
Polling Unit and Ward Congresses: Tuesday, 7 April 2026
Local Government Area Congresses: Thursday, 9 April 2026
State Congresses: Saturday, 11 April 2026
National Convention: Tuesday, 14 April 2026
Party officials urged members and stakeholders across the country to actively participate in the process to ensure a transparent and credible exercise leading up to the National Convention.
