Again, Dangote Refinery Raises Petrol Price
Dangote Refinery has increased the price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to ₦1,275 per litre, hours after raising it to ₦1,245.

The latest adjustment, announced in a fresh customer advisory, takes effect from 12:00 a.m. on March 21, 2026, and replaces all previously communicated rates issued earlier in the day.
According to the refinery, “the prices contained in our previous correspondence are no longer applicable and should be disregarded,” signaling a full revision in response to ongoing volatility in international crude oil prices.
This marks a ₦30 increase within hours, underscoring the speed at which global oil market fluctuations are influencing Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.
In addition to the gantry price hike, the coastal supply price has also been revised upward from ₦1,512,648 to ₦1,646,748 per metric tonne. The new rates apply to all pending and undischarged product volumes.
The refinery noted that customers with valid Bank Guarantees can continue loading under existing Authority to Collect (ATCs) and Product Release Notes (PRNs), provided they pay the price difference.
