Just-In: Minister of Power Adelabu Resigns
The Minister of Power Adelabu Adebayo has resigned from his position following the deadline given by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to all appointees who wants to seek for elective positions in 2027.

In a letter seen by Newsleverage, Adelabu revealed that the resignation will enable him pursue his aspiration for the office of the Oyo State Governor in the 2027 election.
Adelabu managed the power sector in the country, and during his tenure, power distribution was categorised into different bands from A to F, the national grid collapsed over ten times, plunging Nigeria into profound darkness.
Meanwhile, other appointees have resigned their position including Senator Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment.
