Dangote Refinery Warns Staff Against Eating Company Sugar Cane
The Dangote Sugar Refinery has warned drivers and staff against eating company sugar cane, which it described as gross misconduct that can attract disciplinary action.

In a memo to staff seen by Newsleverage and signed by Ikechukwu Okorie, Head of Human Resources, it stated that the cane is company property of great value. It also mentioned that staff chew and drop the chaff indiscriminately, thereby disrupting housekeeping efforts.
It reminded staff that the factory is a food industry and that messy housekeeping will not be tolerated.
Therefore, security operatives have been placed on red alert to arrest anyone involved in such actions.
