PGF Endorses Tinubu for Second Term, Cites Impact of Renewed Hope Reforms
The Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 presidential election, citing the impact of his administration’s economic reforms and development initiatives under the Renewed Hope agenda.

The endorsement was reiterated during the submission of President Tinubu’s nomination and expression of interest forms at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre (BATICC), where Vice President Kashim Shettima represented the President.
Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, said the decision to back President Tinubu for another term was informed by what he described as the administration’s “impactful economic reforms” aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth and national development.
According to Uzodimma, the Tinubu administration has made significant progress in key sectors, including infrastructure, economic revitalisation, security, and human capital development.
He noted that the President’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria remains “steadfast and widely embraced,” adding that continued support for the administration would help consolidate the gains already recorded under the Renewed Hope agenda.

“We must continue to support him in advancing the progressive ideals of the Renewed Hope agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians,” Uzodimma stated.
