Dangote Offers Automatic Employment to 30 FUTO Students Following Refinery Tour
Thirty students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) have been offered automatic employment upon graduation by Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the business mogul and President of the Dangote Group, following an educational tour of the Dangote Refinery and Fertiliser Plant in Lagos.

The students, who participated in the industrial tour from June 14 to 16, 2026, were led by Professor Mrs Nnenna Oti, whose leadership and commitment to student development reportedly inspired the gesture.
Announcing the development, Professor Oti revealed that Alhaji Dangote personally called to convey the employment offer for all 30 students who took part in the excursion. According to her, the billionaire industrialist stated that the decision was made in recognition of her integrity and outstanding service to Nigeria and humanity.
An emotional Professor Oti described the gesture as a remarkable honour and a fitting highlight in her career, expressing profound gratitude to God for the recognition.
“What a God! What an honour! What a glorious way to bow out! What else can I ask for? Lord, to You alone be all the glory,” she said.
