Oshiomhole Alleges Forged Signatures in Natasha Akpoti’s Suspension
Senator Adams Oshiomhole, who represents the Edo North Senatorial District, has alleged that the signatures of at least three senators were forged or improperly included in the report that recommended a six-month suspension for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central.

Oshiomhole made the claim while reacting to remarks by Senate Leader Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, who recently described Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension as one of the lowest moments of the 10th Senate.
Speaking on the controversy, Oshiomhole said he agreed with Bamidele’s assessment, citing concerns raised by some lawmakers over the authenticity of signatures attached to the suspension report.
“If Senator Bamidele Opeyemi said the suspension of Natasha Akpoti from the Senate was the Senate’s lowest point in the last three legislative years, I agree with that because there are some people who claimed that their signatures were forged on that document, people like Senator Ireti Kingibe,” Oshiomhole said.
According to the former Edo State governor, at least three senators whose names appeared on the report allegedly denied signing the document that led to Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension.
