Court Orders Arrest of Alleged Fake Presidential Council DG Over Forgery, Fraud Charges
The Federal High Court in Abuja has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged Director General of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, after he failed to appear for his scheduled arraignment.

Adeyemi is facing an eight-count charge bordering on alleged forgery, fraud, and impersonation in a case marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, which is before Justice Mohammed Umar.
The matter came up for hearing, but the defendant was absent when the case was called, despite being listed on the court’s cause list for the day.
Following his absence, counsel representing the Inspector General of Police, who is prosecuting the case, applied for a bench warrant to compel Adeyemi’s appearance before the court.
Justice Mohammed Umar granted the application and ordered his arrest, directing law enforcement authorities to produce the defendant before the court for further proceedings.
The case has been adjourned pending the execution of the arrest warrant and Adeyemi’s appearance before the court.
