Odumeje Urges Nigerian Youth to Unite Ahead of 2027 Election
General Overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, has called on Nigerian youths to unite ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying the polls will determine whether the country belongs to politicians or the Nigerian people.

Speaking in a viral video, Odumeje urged young Nigerians to take an active role in shaping the nation’s future by demanding accountable leadership.
“In 2027, Nigerians will decide whether the country belongs to politicians or to all of us. Nigerian youth, let’s unite together to bring a working government. We must be the ones to tell them what we want,” he said.
The cleric stressed that anyone entrusted with public office must be able to communicate effectively with the people and remain accountable for decisions affecting the nation.
He accused supporters of President Bola Tinubu of prioritising personal interests over the country’s future, alleging that they were “selling the future of our children for money and personal gain.”
Odumeje also questioned the Federal Government’s borrowing, insisting that public officials owe Nigerians a clear account of how borrowed funds are being utilised.
“The resources they are managing belong to all Nigerians. The money being borrowed is a debt that every Nigerian will have to bear, so they must give Nigerians an account of how those funds are being used,” he stated.
He further criticised what he described as the government’s celebration of routine infrastructure projects, arguing that road construction should not be portrayed as an extraordinary achievement.
“It is shameful that the government celebrates the construction of roads as though it is an extraordinary achievement. Even the coastal roads they are celebrating could be overtaken by flooding once the rains come,” Odumeje said.
